Baby Lanie Lot: Hide and Seek with Aanyx the Toy Thief came straight from the sweet, chaotic reality of life with my daughter, Lanie, and our mischievous miniature poodle, Aanyx. Watching their playful bond unfold reminded me of the delicate balance we all learn as kids: how to share what we love without losing the boundaries that make us feel safe.

This story isn’t just about a game of hide and seek—it’s about exploring trust, communication, and the give-and-take of relationships. Inspired by Lanie’s growing awareness of the world and Aanyx’s hilarious habit of “borrowing” her toys, this book is my way of teaching kids (and reminding us adults) that it’s okay to say “this is mine” while still being kind and generous.
